The Art History af1s

The Art History AF1s were created over three months of painting, during which I meticulously replicated ten of the most well-known paintings in art history on a pair of US M Size 10 Air Force Ones. The sneakers feature: The Mona Lisa and The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, The Bridge Over the Lily Pond by Claude Monet, The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo, Las Meninas by Diego Velázquez, The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard, The School of Athens by Raphael, The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh, Guernica by Pablo Picasso, and The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dalí. This project pays homage to these influential artists who have shaped the world of art.

The Art History AF1s were proudly displayed at a Smithsonian-affiliated gallery at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center as part of their 2024 summer exhibition, Pop Art With Mass Appeal. For inquiries about purchasing or displaying this artwork email cassykustoms@gmail.com
