How I started

Hey, I’m Cassy!

A coffee-loving creative located in the DC area. I always knew I wanted to pursue art, and I am so thankful for the courage and faith to create my own dream career.

I started customizing at sixteen, and I can’t believe how far art has taken me. Founding this art business was the best decision I ever made— it allowed me to turn my creativity into a career and build my own dream job. Now, five years later, I’m expanding. As I grow as an artist and designer, Cassy Kustoms is transitioning into a freelance design agency focused on graphic design and branding, while still embracing my love for painting commissions, video creation, and photography.

My Journey

I grew up loving art but not art classes, because I always knew creativity thrives where there’s freedom. I have been blessed with many role models, inspiring figures, and supporters who have taught me that a career in art was possible. I’m thankful for the art community on social media and all the creatives I’ve met through sharing my passion. I can’t imagine what my younger self would think about the career I have created for myself!

The Dream
